Invited Instructor, Sri Lanka Wildlife Health Centre

Developed and delivered a two-week intensive course in veterinary diagnostic pathology (focused on gross necropsy, histopathology, and research skills development) for graduate students at the Sri Lanka Wildlife Health Centre (SLWHC). Subsequently provided ongoing support and mentorship in case work and the peer-reviewed publication of case reports.

 

SPPH Blended Learning Community of Practice

COVID 19 required the rapid transition of many traditional, in-person SPPH courses to a blended and/or online format. In response to the urgent need for blended learning tools and techniques I led the development of the SPPH Blended Learning Community of Practice.

Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative Summer Education Program

Each year CWHC nodes across the country host DVM students for summer research programs. I recognized the opportunity to connect these students and for a community for peer collaboration and learning, as well as one in which CWHC staff could efficiently and effectively provide structures education regarding wildlife health and research skills.
